FIELDWORK
Fieldwork is an important part of my research. I have organized or joined more than 20 scientific expeditions in Brazil to perform inventories of amphibian and reptile diversity, and to obtain samples for genetic studies.

I have worked mostly in Amazonian and Atlantic rainforests, but also in the arid Caatinga and Cerrado savannas. These trips involved collaborators at the Universidade de São Paulo, Museu Nacional do Rio de Janeiro, and Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi.
